Basel sits where Switzerland, France and Germany meet, and it is the flattest city we serve. The Rhine embankments give long, uninterrupted stretches for running and cycling, and the city's cycling infrastructure is the best in the country by some distance. In summer, swimming down the Rhine with your belongings in a dry bag is a genuine local commute, not a tourist stunt.

The pharmaceutical industry gives Basel a large international population working long hours, which shows in what gets booked: early mornings, short efficient sessions, and a lot of English. Say your preferred language when you book.
