Verbier
Ski instructor in Verbier
Verbier is the serious end of Swiss skiing. The terrain above the resort is steep, open and unforgiving of bad technique, which is exactly why private instruction here pays for itself faster than almost anywhere else — an hour spent fixing how you stand on a steep slope changes an entire week.
The season here runs long and the altitude holds snow well into spring. Out of season it becomes a serious hiking and trail base, with the Bagnes valley below and the Grand Combin massif in view. Winter bookings fill up months ahead; if you want a specific week in February, book it in October.
Why private beats group
A group lesson moves at the speed of its slowest member and spends half the morning waiting at the bottom of a lift. A private day is yours: if your problem is one thing — steeps, moguls, a stubborn inside ski — that is what the day is about. Most people who switch never go back.
Lift passes and equipment
Your lift pass is not included and you arrange it yourself, since most people already have one or a season pass. Bring your own skis if you have them. If you need rental, say so when you book and your instructor will point you at the right shop rather than the nearest one.

Common questions
What level do I need to be?
Any. Complete beginners are a normal booking, and so are strong skiers who want to move off-piste safely. Tell us honestly where you are in the notes — it is the single most useful thing you can write there.
Can my children and I share a lesson?
Yes, if you ski at broadly similar levels. If the gap is large, two separate lessons work far better than one compromised one.
What about off-piste?
Off-piste and touring are available with instructors qualified for it, and depend on conditions on the day. Say so when you book so we match you correctly — it is not something to decide on the chairlift.
