Boxing coach in Geneva
Geneva has the densest concentration of lakeside sports facilities in the region, and the parks along the Eaux-Vives and Pâquis shores carry most of the outdoor coaching that happens here. It is also compact: a coach can cross the city in twenty minutes, which means we can usually match a session to a time rather than to a neighbourhood.
The international population changes what people book. A large share of our Geneva sessions are people who have arrived recently and are picking a sport back up somewhere unfamiliar, often in a language other than the local one. English is the working language for most of our coaches here, and several work in German, Italian or Spanish. Say what you would prefer when you book.
Nobody is going to hit you
The most common thing people want to know before booking, and the answer is no. A private session is footwork, technique and pad work, which is demanding enough on its own. Sparring exists for those who ask for it and happens nowhere near a first session.
Why it works as training
Boxing is the rare workout where you are concentrating too hard to notice the effort. An hour of pad work moves your heart rate around in a way no treadmill does, and the coordination demand means your brain is busy the whole time. It is also, by some distance, the best thing on this list for a bad week.

Common questions
Do I need gloves and wraps?
Your coach brings pads and can lend gloves for a first session. If you carry on, your own gloves and wraps are worth buying — shared gloves are unpleasant.
Am I too old or too unfit?
No. The intensity is set by your coach and scales down as easily as it scales up.
Can two of us train together?
Yes, and it works well — one on the pads while the other works, then swap. Choose the two-person session.
